Haha had a discussion yesterday again with someone out of Nostr.
“Who says this doesn’t end up as another Facebook or Instagram or MySpace then”
Explaining this was a protocol NOT a platform didn’t *click* yet. Some people really don’t see the difference. More tech minded people seem to understand it more often and see the potential
Yeah, exactly. I'm not a tech person per se. But, it only takes a little bit of research and curiosity to understand what Nostr is about, and what the potentials are.
The problem is, most people dont want to spend that little time to do a little research on something new. They want everything served on a silver platter, without putting any effort in.
That's what makes most people today such easy targets for big techs. People are giving their soul away for free without realising it.
