Having to redo your cold storage set up every so often as technology exponentially changed and improved.

Just when you thought were safe quantum computing breaks everything.

Hopefully we’ll also be more advanced to combat that threat when it happens

I think we will figure something out, will just be lots of useless hardware wallets lying around at that point. Paperweights I guess.
