It's a deeply funny word. It's no different than any slur it shouldn't be put on a pedestal.

Given how blacks were treated in not so distant history, I find it disrespectful. If you read Zinn's History of America you would get some insight as to how the (mostly Jewish slave owner) upper class gave white slaves (indentured servants) a little more freedom than blacks so that they would not see them as peers in a revolt, which was a constant threat to Jews. That's the origin - racism was manufactured and spread to keep the lower class divided, and to this day Jews are keeping it alive in various ways, most recently you will now see every public school in America has an ADL anti-hate campaign that carefully maintains a race divide. The real enemy is Jews against whites (historical vengeance), Jews, who were the almost exclusive purveyors of the slave trade, against blacks, and Jews against everyone else given their Talmudic belief that non-Jews are sub-human.

What about how blacks treat whites now? I'm a bit more concerned with that dynamic. Also it's still a funny word.
