Bitcoin doesn’t become global reserve without privacy.

US, Russia, China, etc. don’t want each other knowing the status of their reserves.

Samourai wins or bitcoin suffers.

if bitcoin were the global reserve then mixing would be a standard and totally ignored practice

Of course. But it won’t become the global reserve if mixing isn’t legal.

these things could all happen at once, or one before the other, or vise versa, but we’ll get there

mixing isn’t illegal in many places OUTSIDE the us

I hope so. Still disappointed in the community’s lackluster support for Samourai. It’s really soured me to the “bitcoiner” crowd.

It’s not something every bitcoiner does. I know the samurai story and sympathize, but a lot of people just don’t know what is happening. Also, it’s terrifying for many hodlers to do anything with their coins other than stash immediately in cold wallets after kyc purchase. Don’t hate them for being conservative there, many of those types bought on coinbase over the years and have been pillars of sustainable and growing prices. Give it time
