I am developing an onboarding client for sharing Nostr with friends. My MVP funding has run dry, and OpenSats won’t be reviewing my application for a couple weeks. Please define Web Of Trust in your words. How is it calculated or achieved?
Thanks for asking. Tangentially related to this project, I am also working on a standard for a “free market” of WoT filters, specifically because there is no “one best” calculation.

Specifically, this project does not calculate WoT. It provides rapid on-ramping for new users into an established “web of trust” through customizable invitations. It also provides new users with tools to “discover” friends, clients, relays, and “other stuff” recommended within this web.
With this project, I avoid assuming any particular “path” for onboarding or network growth. Instead, I focus on providing tools and incentives for nostr Advocates to assume this for their own friends.
