Intelligence is not magic, it's sleight of hand. There are infinite little tricks that we can add to our bag throughout our life, but ultimately anything "smart" that we gain the ability to do will only ever be due to a finite number of these tricks.

In other words, intelligence is just knowledge or wisdom that the speaker can't articulate. Solving a Rubix Cube is only smart until someone tells you the tricks. Being able to do differential calculus is only smart until you learn the chain rule and the derivatives of your atomic functions. And an IQ test is just any test where the creator can't articulate the tools needed to actually come up with the solutions.

I will never call myself "smart", because that should never be necessary if I ac actually articulate my tricks.
