Can we coexist justly your minds and machines, our harmony wild lives?

need life, we need life. 🦧Why must one devour the other?

This my home, my playground, once alive with ‘zamrud khatulistiwa’ whispers,

canopies thick as lovers' secrets, swinging vines, endless dance. Fruits dripping sweet in the humid dawn, calls echoing through the green heart. Where kin and I wove our nests high, cradled in the arms of an ancient giant's tree.

But now the roar comes not thunder, but iron teeth gnawing the earth, yellow monster belching smoke, devouring roots that held entire world together. I charge, fists pounding futile on cold steel, pleading with eyes that see no soul. As rainforest crash like fallen gods, their screams silenced in dust and fire.

The air chokes with ash, my lungs burn, babies cling tighter, mothers wail in branches stripped bare and bleeding sap. No more shade from the relentless sun, no rivers singing through the undergrowth, only endless black scars where palms will rise, oily empires built on our graves.

We flee to the labyrinth, ghosts in our own realm, starving in the silence left behind,

critically endangered they call us, words from far away, call for grants, yapping attract fundraising, then there’re conference, summit and seminar in luxury ballroom, our face on the brochures indifferent pathetic figure.

Yet I remember the swing, the joy, the wild freedom now chained in memory, a heartbreaking exile, as humanity's greed consumes the last soul. Forgive us not, for we knew and still, the blades advance. We never quiet, leave the forest's dying cry lingers forever. 💔
