I mean unless you are only connected to relays who honor the request and nobody boosts your note before you delete it … then I suppose there would be nothing to boost in the first place?

I post note to one relay.
Friend boosts it to 20 relays.
I delete from one relay.
Do the 20 relays have a copy of my note, or just a boost event with a reference to a note that now doesn't exist and can't be pulled from anywhere?
Does a boost make a copy of the note?
