a) Tariffs stay in place for real. Stocks collapse 50%+, USD falls off a cliff, Bubble pop, Global Depression
b) Tariffs stay in place, but it's not as bad as the market thinks. Society shrugs off stocks, and in 4 years there's factories in the US
c) Trump & Xi reach a trade deal. Tariffs go off
d) White House calls it off. Can't take the pain

Big egos in charge. Tarrifs = Tax. It's a trojan horse to rob more money from the individuals.
