Nostr reminds me of something from when I was in High School. I was considered a "jock" in high school. I loved competition so I also pushed myself to be the best in sports. I would always start the year sitting at the "cool kids" table during lunch with teammates and the good looking girls. However, by the end of the year I would always end up sitting at a different table with the "nerds" or "plebs". I never understood why but later in life I came to realize that I must of recognized how fake and empty "the cool kids" table was. It was mostly filled with kids who were lost with conversations that were shallow and empty. The plebs table was more real, they talked about stuff that was interesting and different. It was geniune. To me that is what Nostr is. Twitter is the cool kids table full of a lot of fake and empty interactions. On the hand Nostr is where you go for real and geninune interactions. Maybe this changes when it gets bigger but for now its pretty amazing.

Nostr also reminds me of the early days of the Bitcoin. We use to pitch it as a tool for all. I remember as payment processors would attack groups like Sex Workers and gamblers we would promote freedom money to them. However, the tools were raw and just not good enough yet. It's pretty cool to see it come full circle to a point now we got Nostr+Lightning its an outlet for anyone who might get silenced or oppressed. With marketplaces and other tools coming to Nostr the potential is endless paired with Bitcoin. Gives me the same level excitement I had when I went to my first Bitcoin conference in 2014. I look forward to see what comes from it. I am glad to see you are using it more as the tools get better like with primal being available on the browser. I am also glad to see that you arent just cross posting stuff here but actually sharing things you do not share elsewhere. Appreciate you Lyn 💜
