James 4:10 - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.
God promises His blessing if we humbly call out to Him, and turn from sin.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14
You can always trust God to keep his word. Our reality can not consist outside of Gods spoken truth.
