You don’t. Just make sure it’s secure and won’t fall over.

Spray with diluted citrus.

Hmm 🤔 could work but could also go horribly wrong for my friend and their cat 🐈

How? Completely non-toxic. Basically, lemon juice.

Non toxic for humans.

But citric acid is toxic for felines, it affects their nervous system🐈

Home sprays that are nontoxic to pets but are used to keep cats away from certain furniture or upholstery often contain orange oil (because cats don't like it), but it's not the juice of the fruit that's used (which has the acid). I'm sure this is an innocent mistake of them saying "citrus" without being specific.

Would a pet store would sell that spray?

This, I did not know. 😬

By not getting a Christmas tree? Big sacrifice, I know…

He is one stubborn friend

Pepper 🌶️

😅😅

Don't get a cat to begin with.

Build a waterfall above it that feeds a moat that circles around the tree.

Brilliant!

Put a cardboard box under the tree, it is magnetic.

You can't!
