The Angus from my local Walmart is good. Or, good enough for now. The difference between ~$20/steak vs. ~$75/steak doesn't matter to me at the moment.
I dont pay 75 lol. I pay about 20 at my local buther shop. And I get payed in beef for maintenance work at a friend's ranch.
That's amazing. I would do that if I could, but... It's Walmart for me for now.
Yeah, you can only do what you can with what you have to work with.
I also eat a lot of wild game, it doesn't have the fat content of beef, which I love, but it sure is tasty. Unfortunately I only do a job or 2 a year for my friend with the ranch.
I get venison pretty regularly, but not as often as I'd prefer.
