Not only is it not morally wrong to evade tax, but it is now morally imperative that one pays as little tax as possible.
If you feel bad about not giving to the less fortunate, then do it directly and voluntarily.

Agreed.
This is especially true in Canada. We are being taxed far too much as it is, and that will not decrease.
It's just a matter of finding the small ways one can do so.
