i’ve been trying to learn as much as i can in the bitcoin space too though - i’ve been setting up a node on a raspberry pi “the hard way”(i.e. SSH only, all from the command line using Ubuntu Server)
here’s something i wrote (mostly for my own benefit) about setting up your rpi4 node to boot from your SSD (instead of sd card) when you’re using Ubuntu Server (which isn’t as easy as it seems if you don’t have a USB-to-SATA cable handy):
