Except, its not, for bitcoin we have created clever ways of leveraging phones secure element, or using a hardware wallet. Its not unique to amethyst, but the key management really needs to be cleaned up. Imagine having to punch in your bitcoin private key every time you have to log into your hardware wallet, there are numerous security flaws in that.
