It's not that bitcoiners were lucky to grasp Bitcoin and adopt it.

Nocoiners were unlucky to have been unable to grasp it because of propaganda and FUD.

Adopting Bitcoin is actually the normal thing to do. Being brainwashed is the abnormal thing.
