Wait a minute, I didn’t say anything about censoring any content. I simply believe that there is enough porn out there so I do not consider it to be a value 4 value as some people here are trying to describe it. I want to discourage people from sending #zaps for porn on #nostr.
We do not need it here. That’s what I believe. But since this is a freedom network, I can’t and I will not pursue it in any way. I am just muting in on my timeline, that’s all I am doing.
You are welcome to discourage whatever you want, but the beauty of bitcoin is that nobody else gets to decide how you use it. 😉 Mute what you don't like, don't zap what doesn't suit you. This is the way.
But what is or is not value is entirely subjective, and up to the individual. Some people believe film, art, music, literature and all manner of other intangible goods hold no value either but are still willing to consume them. Others pay generously. There is a market for porn, always has been, always will be. You're just not interested, and that is entirely valid!
