Can phytoplankton that produce 80% of the oxygen for our planet in the oceans bioaccumulate the 3.7 million tons of nuclear waste water containing tritium being released over the next 30 years at Fukushima, Japan? If so, is it possible they will be damaged to the point of not being able to generate the oxygen many species need? How soon might humans become extinct if phytoplankton are killed off? Thanks
