Non-KYC for sure. Multisig is nice for making it harder for them to come away with a haul, but it won’t save you from getting tortured. “I can’t give you the coins” is the same as “I won’t give you the coins” when it comes to whether/how they retaliate. Means of defense (firearms + training) and vigilance (surveillance system) need to be at the top of the list of safety items.
Have a small stack to give them something. Surveillance system adds another attack vector imo. A dog and a shotgun is great though!
A home security system can be self-hosted with Home Assistant and accessed remotely if you set up a SSH tunnel. It would take a very sophisticated attacker to make that into a liability against you, IMO.
This is interesting. You can use it with any camera? How much do you estimate it would cost to set up all of this?
I suppose you could make a system as advanced as you want, but potentially just the cost of a low-end computer and a couple cameras (+ configuration time). I believe there’s an Umbrel app for Home Assistant.
