He’s doing the exact opposite of what the vast majority of corporations in Florida want but most citizens do.

I think his policies long term would at the very least coerce companies to cooperate with the state on social issues in order to curry favor with the state government
Social issues such as removing Pedos from Disney? Legal immigration?
Those type of issues.
Those are the issues people care about.
