Every time you reread the Bible you will discover more and more and learn what things mean. There are many things that you can't understand without the whole Bible. Most of the New Testament doesn't make full sense if you don't have the foundation of the Old Testament, especially the first 11 chapters of Genesis, which is the foundation of it all.
