I hire experience and problem solving skills, not certifications. Anyone can retain information for a few hours to pass a test. I have so many Cisco certified people, for example, that have never touched a switch or router in their life.
I’m already a network admin, but I’ve been eyeing that CCNA just for the pay raise, ngl.
