Pixel fold is porn.

I wanted a folding phone, because I love original or at least interesting stuff - and all phones are just same black blocks nowadays. But those flipping phones felt like it will break soon and folding Samsung is a noodle, the format looks a bit weird.

My man found a very nice deal on Pixel on some german eshop, bought it, they accepted, later found out they don't have it anymore and sent the money back. That's typical for german eshops, it happened to us basically every time when we lived there.πŸ˜€ But now there happened something between the shop and the bank for some reason, the money returned to them, for some reason, and the eshop rather sent the phone they didn't have, for that heavily discounted price, for some reason. Thank you, german incompetence!πŸ‘€πŸ€£

I honestly forgot about Graphene and started drooling over this book right away.

I was searching for a tiny notebook as well and found only few very expensive ultrabooks or tablets, or iPads. So now, although I wanted to get Linux, I'll cover my needs on this Pixel. Hopefully I will get Graphene on it later, someone on BTC Prague told me it should run ok. Does someone here use graphene on a folding phone?

The phone is very heavy next to my previous small iPhone, but that use of large display is.. it's awesome.

I'll let aside opinions on apps I can't get rid of etc.

I can't do folding phones yet.

I want a workable dual screen phone, with one screen being e-ink. The phones that have done this were exceptionally mediocre.

Ooo, implemented e-ink sounds very interesting. I'm quite curious about that natural light laptop thing coming up, what's it's nameπŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Daylight computer.

Yup. It caught my attention.

I love e-ink.

Yes! Thank you. It's not out yet, but I'll gladly read the reviews when it comes. If the fold was half display and e-ink or something like that inside, that would've been awesome. My eyes grow so tired of artificial light.

That's a good idea, too! I hadn't thought of that.

Hmmm...

yes. it's awesome. the only things that don't work:

- primal on open screen (blinking, I already reported it)

- Google pay on GrapheneOS. that can't be solved easily, I have a cover with small wallet and I carry a card and 100€ cash. I prefer paying with cash anyway

- compared to iPhone, solid backups. That is unfortunately an unsolved problem.

everything else works well. enjoy it!

Very cool
