The Twitter block feature was and still is a terrible idea.
Threads get destroyed and misunderstandings abound.
And now the minimum standard has been set so that any social app must exclude the feature.
Banishment in the digital space was always a nonstarter.
Threading is terrible in any 1 dimensional list.
Threading is by definition a tree.
It was more about the “who is talking to X because Y has me blocked and it seems like a really good thread. Time to flip over to my *accounts that blocked my main Twitter account* to read it” feeling.
