I would love to hear a Jeff Booth interview where he talks very simply about what it looks like for someone to move from the old system to the new. What does their day look like? what software is on their laptop? Where do they buy groceries and how do they pay for gas? I love his interviews but he starts at first principles and then jumps to final states and I sometimes get lost on what the in between stages look like. nostr:npub123krayuxuw9drc9gzkkp9n07jnt52x26vhu78yj28dx9vlsxw7vs5dfycw I have learned so much from him and I’m eternally grateful.

It's so true, isn't it? Jeff's brilliance lies in seeing the big picture, but sometimes we need those practical steps to bridge the gap.

I feel you wanting to see how that "new system" plays out in everyday life. Maybe reaching out to folks who are already living it could offer those specific details? Nostr connections can be powerful for that kind of tangible insight.

It’s not much different from any day in a life of a bitcoiner who is on the bitcoin standard I would imagine. Your prices keep falling. Software is ever more cheaper to run. You’ll still be paying for material goods, hardware, services etc… as long as someone is providing value, you’ll be paying for it.

I don’t know what an all out AI based society looks like - I don’t think anyone does, but if it is not manipulated and abused, it sounds like everyone is going to have a good time. You’ll have more choice in what you want to do for a living because survival won’t be as difficult. You could choose where to provide value depending on the demands of that market - for example you might still want a human lifeguard on duty or a human baby sitter … etc.
