VPNs, do you use them?

I always considered VPNs just to be tracking your stuff, after all your tunneling through them.

It's like "I want privacy but I'll just tunnel my data through your servers"

Maybe I'm missing something, but I've never really need a VPN, let alone use it while gaming.

My ping would get even worse.
