Well, we do because we know what the actual benefits are.

But the masses certainly do not. In the EU we're about to have China-style content surveillance of message apps, including "end to end encrypted" apps. Do you think anyone will stop using Whatsapp? Of course not.

The only way to make inroads among the mass is to give them a better UX, and to keep the real benefits just as a bonus, not the core to the value proposition of the app.

If we find out that's an impossible task (I personally think UX has an inverse relationship with Nostr's real benefits), then we have to accept that the protocol will remain niche, and those who are trying to become Zack Zuckerberg by building on it will have to temper their expectations.

Yeah I mean general public doesn’t. I agree that the way to grow is just better apps and new approaches not possible before.

Even social aspects will grow, just not as fast.
