Covid ruined it for a lot of kids. Besides, the whole college experience is more depressing for most students because they realize they may not get a well paying job after putting themselves into a massive debt trap. I’m one of the lucky parents whose kids went to school with scholarships( one of which landed an excellent job they pays extremely well ) and will walk away with no debt at all. But that is few and far between with most students.
