Discussion
It takes a few days for FDroid to update. I recommend Obtainium if you want to receive updates immediately.
Should I fdroid version for obtanium?
*Should I use f-droid version for obtanium?
btw there should be an option for editing note
It's like an email, after you send it, you can't really change it.
No, the vitorpamplona/amethyst version
Yeah, but you still have to chose version in the app, choose which apk from the releases
Choose Universal, Google Play edition.
Doesn't that depend on google services? I run a deggogled phone with no microg and no sandboxed google services.
Then choose Universal FDroid.
Okay. Just name it, foss instead of f-droid as it fits imo. It would be more fitting I think. Google can stay google as it uses google services. It would just make more sensento call the fdroid simply foss or no google/free version.
But thanks for the help, btw I was already using that version. The nameing is a bit ambiguous.
Just why I asked for is that some time store can limit the feature and stuff of app. They can have their own restrictions and rules, like no self update (maybe reason why it was missing from f droid). It's good to have a "unrestricted" version that is not limited, when using such app as obtanium. It doesn't have to be compliant, restricted.
