The top 10 % are thriving. The other 90 % are working harder for roughly the same purchasing power they had in 2019, while the essentials of middle-class life… housing, food, insurance, childcare, college, are up 35–60 % It’s not anxiety anymore.
It’s arithmetic. & the pot is starting to boil over.
“seems”… they simply cannot be honest, even when wobbling on the precipice of honesty.
