1976年，以毛泽东妻子(江青)为首的王洪文、张春桥和姚文元(史称“四人帮”）被赶下台。这个剪纸作品中粗壮的拳头形象地把“四人帮”打倒在地了。当年大众的反应则激动热烈。据称，在他们被捕当天，北京所有酒店的酒都卖光了。据笔者考证这幅剪纸作品被收录在《Cultural ATLAS OF CHINA》一书当中。

The stout fist in this paper-cut image knocked the "Gang of four" to the ground. The public reaction was enthusiastic. On the day of their arrest, all hotels in Beijing were said to have sold out of alcohol. According to the author's research, this paper-cut work was included in the book Cultural ATLAS OF CHINA.
