Whats this accrescent thing? A collection of apps? Who is behind it? Why not get all of them with Obtanium?

accrescent is another app installer. It comes default installed on Grapheme now for only a dozen or so apps.

Doesn't that introduce yet another trusted party? Why not use Obtanium?
