New users need to find people and content that interests them. They need to be able to find it easily. This is the biggest problem we face in growing Nostr.

I'm sure you know, but maybe the solution isn't even account but topic and feeds (better feeds, feeds that work lol.)
Bluesky has done really well with their feeds.
Feeds make even more sense maybe on nostr. With the bircointourettes issues lol. Cos I may not want to follow someone entirely, but I think when they post about eg movies, or gardening, I want to see it. And not so much when they post about baseball or talk about the price of bitcoin.
I don't mean to be mean here lol.
I'd say it's really a mix.
It's the people that deliver the topical content the user is looking for. They want their trusted journos, their topic insiders or deep thinkers, their beehive of cyber hornets to interact with, etc.
Right now, Bitcoin, Nostr and a handful of other topics have this. Most other topics do not.
Someone can't develop a better feed unless he knows what "better" might look like, to someone who isn't like himself.
I think by 'better' I meant a mixture of more variety of topics, a better functioning, less slow to load.
Are DVMs feeds? I don't even know. They can take absolutely ages to load tho.
I'd consider DVM's a feed. without a funding source though it will always be slow.
Sadly, the world is addicted to the word "free", and it hurts adoption.

I check here every once in a while to see if it's not still just completely dominated by libertarian bitcoin googly eyed platidudes. it's still mostly that but it gets better. I used to come on here often just for nostr dev news but honestly until they work on a strategy for having more electic content I'll probably stay an infrequent lurker since it's a bit boring. I'd honestly rather use a forum or reddit type thing using nostr, the existing options are not there yet. any community relay related development gets me interested though.
Ha, nostr and all the other dweb social networks. Despite bsky having had a big boom period, now - just a couple months later - most of the people in my circles are back to being most active on Twitter, despite having their twitter usernames still promoting their bsky/masto handles. The network effect is strong. P;

The new nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 is great for finding content for music and podcast lovers. I could spend all day in the app.
It seems pretty easy to find topics with "#". Nostr clients like Satellite operate pretty much like reddit where you find communities that grow up around topics. What improvements would you suggest? I worry someone will wind up making another BS algo to lead us all around by our noses.
Nostr's possibilities are limitless ... diverse content on social chat platforms is absolutely needed. But so is acceptance of the diversity of applications.
