Instead of asking for name and email for a waiting list, why not ask for an npub (or just a follow) and DM people with updates??

Thank you for straight forward honest feedback, its interesting what you suggested , is there a way in Nostr to build a list of followers with npubs and broadcast updates to them ?
If you only have a few followers, do it manually to start.. if you’re getting good traction, automate it.
