Had to look up LOTR. But yes, I get that. You go back a bit and even with some of the older TV shows, while the production quality was not as advanced, you'll find the content was of much different quality. I'd say better quality content, but that's of course subjective. If I had young children in the house, they'd only be able to watch the old stuff (without ads of course).
