Nice! My understanding of router vs repeater is that they both essentially behave the same way in terms of rebroadcasting packets that are received, but a repeater purely does rebroadcasting whereas a router can also perform other Meshtastic functions. A router will show up in the node list whereas a repeater won’t and a repeater may use lower power than a router since it isn’t doing as much.
Also, it is worthwhile having a look at the RAK wireless RAK4631 modules if you are planning on deploying solar repeater/router nodes. The Nordic device that these are based on seem to be a lot more power efficient than the esp32 devices.
