Yet most look at this island and can’t imagine a 4 story building, a Central Park, locomotives, or any building built of steel.

We have less in common with the near future than the distant past… right now most of the island is uninhabited, horizontal expansion will soon invert that ratio.

Only then do we begin to build vertically, in a dimension beyond most imaginations.
