Exodus 20:3-5

"You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God"

Leviticus 19:4

"Do not turn to idols or make for yourselves any gods of cast metal: I am the LORD your God"

Deuteronomy 5:7-9

"You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water below. You shall not bow down to them or serve them."

1 John 5:21

"Little children, keep yourselves from idols"

Isaiah 42:8

"I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols"
