Uma musume banned the majority of western IPs last few months, but you can always use a VPN to play it. I don't play any of them anyway, I refuse to play gachas again, I just like the series.

It's not just the monetization. My main issue is preservation. Sure most gachas are garbage meant to just sell you sweaty JPEGs, but I hate when games go out of service and you can't replay them. What if there is something there that is interesting to me and I want to come back to it? I need to be on some nerd having reversed engineered the game and preserved it. Otherwise, you will "play" by watching Youtube videos that may or may not survive the test of time.
