hello nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr it is not intuitive that the timeline is called "notes"

it should be called "home" and be a prominent button you can't miss

why do i have to read through a menu of items that all look the same to find one that's home

i don't even know what "launchpad" is - why is it above home ?

the first item should be home, then notifications, then messages.

all the other nonsense should be in a thinner / lighter font ... or just on the bottom where support and settings are.

I'm on the Nostter client on desktop and the UI is very Twitter-like with a home button. However, it appears to be missing the DM function; in most other ways it is like a more primitive version of what we're used to on X.

. nostr:npub1acg6thl5psv62405rljzkj8spesceyfz2c32udakc2ak0dmvfeyse9p35c said in the past the DMs were not secure enough, so maybe they omitted that functionality because they didn't want to mislead people into thinking DMs were secure ?

as for noStrudel nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr keeps redesigning it - nothing is set in stone.

in fact after this latest redesign it is more like what i have been telling him it should be than it ever was before, except for this annoying bit where "home" is inexplicably called "notes"
