Iβm inquiring about Orthodoxy, and have really been drawn to it.
I say that, because what lead me there was exploring Christian Anarchy. Reading the likes of Linscomb and Tolstoy. They both reference Early Church Fathers as foundations of their beliefs. Looking closure at the Fathers lead me to Orthodoxy.
Im new and learning, but I donβt get the Orthodox tradition has an anti-state slant.
Anywho, Iβd like to explore your writings more to get a better idea of your thoughts as I perceive Iβd be sympathetic to them.

Thanks so much for listening. FYI, I'm hoping to "get around to" making a technically better release of "Asymmetric Liberty," but I kinda rushed that out in order to beat the competition submission deadline.π
Re: Orthodoxy; I have some Ortho friends who I respect highly; there are elements/aspects of Orthodoxy that I think are good, but others that trouble me. I think, like virtually all "large organizations," some traditions help us to focus and stay on track, but often also keep us from biblical truth.
My major criticism(s) of Orthodoxy: a centralized, hierarchical structure, and too heavy on traditions that may override biblical truth. What I like is that Orthos have insights into the fine distinction between iconography and idolatry, and there are elements of their worship that I like.
Christian anarchy is extremely important in my thinking. Have I pointed you to my online library of writings? I discuss it pretty extensively, and have for years, but things (slowly and progressively) are becoming even clearer to me. The ecclesia in both Eastern and Western branches (speaking very generally) has missed some subtle but very important biblical cues.
Happy to discuss this further and in whatever detail may interest you... I would love to hear more about how you came to faith, and your thinking about the intersection of Christianity and anarchy.πππ«πππ»π

It was fascinating and I've also saying some things to that effect for years. No one wants to listen to me, though. They want to be proud patriots and take back 'Murica like good Christians... All while not understanding that we are in enemy territory and they don't treat it as seriously as that thought entails.
