What's funnyiest (and most amazing) to me about posting this book preface here is that with incoming zaps from people who value the story, I've already made more money on this single note than I did from any sales of the book!

Of course, I didn't share it for zaps. I thought the community would get a kick out of it. But the experience that followed cemented for me how tying a value-based currency to a content stream really allows humans to be compensated appropriately for what they're putting into the world.

Let's hear it for going around the gatekeepers and putting your value directly in front of people who value it.
