Just downloaded the camera 63 apk and tried it .
Very simplistic UI,not that many settings although AOSP has the functionality and about Exif removal ,Scrambled Exif removes way more metadata than the camera app .Good for basic users!
I'm using MG Cam (GCam mod) and Scrambled Exif, besides there is info in your downloaded pictures as well ..
Agreed the UI seems simplistic however it is based on CameraX API that requires vendor extensions to be made available to it to expand it. On Samsung devices where this is the case you have a fully fledged suite akin to Pixel Camera. We are waiting on the Pixel vendor extensions which are expected in an Android 14 QPR release at some point for these features to be enabled within the OS.
For other OEMs the same would apply.
Also agree having ScrambledEXIF in the arsenal is always a good plus too.
