Illegal vs legal does not define the border between moral and immoral.
Discussion
Laws are *usually* down stream from morality. Having laws without any moral foundation doesn’t really make sense.
Regardless if you don’t think it’s legal we can both agree it’s an *immoral* occupation and invasion right?..
For some laws there is some overlap with my moral values, indeed. The destruction that comes with the invasion is immoral. Any occupation is immoral, regardless who the occupator is. Also, this war is completely taken out of context by most western media. Zelensky/NATO/America/the military industrial complex want this war more than Russia. Despite all this, I agree the invasion is immoral.
Russia can end the war tomorrow, Ukraine can't.
NATO is a voluntary defensive military alliance, I don't even care if that's Russia reason for invading (which it isn't). A sovereign country like Ukraine has every right to request to join.
Ironically by invading Ukraine that makes Russia is *closer* geographically to NATO territory.
I'd be careful because how you speak is sounding very much like right wing pro-Russia talking points which, the right wing have very carefully rewritten the history of this conflict and expect standards of Ukraine they don't even apply to their own government while at the same time acting like Putin is a child with no responsibility.
NATO is defensive in name only (DINO lol). In reality they have clearly been the aggressor in many, many cases. Never on the defensive side, not a single time. Please provide an example if I am wrong. Clearly Ukraine isnt, because they are not in NATO. NATO needs an enemy to keep feeding itself, so they make up enemies. Its one big money laundering scheme and control mechanism. Of course Zelensky doesn't want the war to end, because then there are supposed to be elections and he can't send his wife out shopping anymore from American/EU tax payers money. This war can only be ended through diplomacy: keep the borders more or less at the current front lines.
With that being said, invading was morally wrong.
