Two questions keep me up at night, and I haven’t managed to figure either of them out on my own. (1) Who came up with the ostrich, and (2) Why purple?

I asked gpt3 to write me a joke about nostr— it wrote a pretty bad joke but I loved the idea of a Nostrich.
Then I started playing on Midjourney and made the initial #[2] image. I used purple because #[3] was already purple and Bitcoiners have plenty of orange stuff already.
#[4] proposed it as the unofficial mascot, then #[5] tweeted the Nostrich on Twitter and it stuck.
