This is awesome. It's not an alternative to collaborative custody, but a similar BIP85 child seed could be used to encrypt a multisig descriptor(or MiniScript bdsm file) with the emergency key.
Ideally, these service providers would not have any of your keys nor know how much Bitcoin you own.
