Need a good desktop client. Primal is buggy, Iris always freezes up my computer, don't particularly care for coracle UI. Suggestions?

Damus Notedeck! Well still in ealry stages so not a ton of features but worth playing around.
Nostrudl is a good all around desktop client with all the bells and whistles
I'll check it out. 🫡
Can't install Notedeck on Linux. One of the dependencies is out of date and I can't seem to update that.
Shoot Eslat or JB55 a note maybe they can help or nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424 maybe could help too? I’m not a Linux guy.
For Linux, I've only compiled from source on elementary OS and Ubuntu systems. Are you compiling from source or using pre-compiled binaries?
Either way, maybe summit an issue on GitHub?
hey bobbers, try to compile the latest source. im curious if the latest commit fixes your issue?

I like the functionality within coracle, but not a fan of the UI/UX. Being in software and I know it’s difficult to do both feature and design.
I can understand that, I think. 😂 I suck at tech, as I would propose that most do.
Most are just looking for plug and play because of that.
No attack on the devs. Mad respect for all helping to build. Just need a happy medium that works for us tech retards.
Design and usability are crazy difficult esp when you’re trying to build one thing for EVERYONE because it is so subjective. Features are simple. I need to do X. The feature may be hard to build, but at the end of it does it work yes/no. It’s the How it works is the challenge. Love trying different apps to see what changes are taking place constantly
I will do same. Just try everything, until something "hits" for me. 🫡
