In the tapestry protocol, YOU are always at the center of YOUR web of trust.

How does this work under the hood? Below is a screenshot of the tapestry protocol applied to the curation of a list of nostr clients. Every web of trust has a “seed user” whose Influence Score is set equal to 1 and never changes. The seed user defaults to YOU, although there is a selector that allows you to select a different seed user to see what effect that has on the results (the items on the list).

Does this check the client tag in the event?

Nope - but if you’re trying to download the relevant events, try kinds 9901 (lists and list items) and 39901 (attestations). (They’re old so I may need to rebroadcast them.)
