Nice. I assume h264 prior? I think a device would be mighty old to not support h265.

h265 is patent ridden codec, so some devices may have issue, true. I think HW decoding of it is highly patented. What you see on the internet is mostly h264. YouTube does it all and even AV1 for 2k-8k resolutions. Netflix is in the similar boat. 🐶🐾🫡
